You can now add an application to existing accounts!

To add application to existing accounts simply

  1. navigate to the Account

  2. click the Applications tab in the collapsing left hand side bar

  3. click + Add Application

  4. Select the desired application


Commercial Auto & Trucking Submissions Flow

Step 1. SUBMISSION: Agent completes the form: https://commercialinsurance.surefyre.co/page/commercial-auto/

Submit Button
Submission Successful

Agent clicks “Submit”and instantly see a SUBMISSION SUCCESSFUL MESSAGE. All future communications will come from Commercialinsurance@surefyre.co

Next: Agent gets a confirmation email and Surefyre automatically assigns auto applications to Jennifer@cig-llc.biz. Agent and underwriters can log in to the portal via the link provided to access the application for status updates or to make a comment.

The dashboard will have a list of applications, recently viewed accounts, tasks, and an overview of activity on each account.

Review Submission

Step 1 - Underwriter reviews submission information. The the status in the top left and you advance the status with the buttons to the left.

Options:

  • Decline- Please always provide a reason in the comments so anyone within the organization can see this as well as providing requisite information to the agent. You can always reactivate an application from Declined and the status will go back to Submitted.

  • Request more information - Please always leave a list of what information is required in the comments. Once they provide the additional information they will be able to click More information provided and the status will go back to Submitted.

  • Send to Underwriting- If everything is in order, you can change status to Underwriting by clicking Send to Underwriting.

Step 2 - Underwriting: 

Options:

  • Send to Carrier - With carrier can then go from Bind Policy or Returned from Carrier back to Underwriting.

  • Request more information - 2.5 More Info Required for Underwriting goes back to Underwriting once info in provided.

  • Quote and attach documents in attachments

Step 3 - Quoted

Submit Bind Request
  • Once quoted, Underwriter can Reject the policy and it goes back to Declined.

  • Agent can Withdraw Quote and it goes back to Withdrawn.

  • Agent can request bind

When the agent submits a bind request, we confirm the transition. Any helpful notes can be added accordingly.

Step 4 - Bind Requested

  • Once bind is requested, Underwriter can Reject the policy and it goes to Declined

  • Underwriter can request additional information and it loops back to Bind Requested

  • Underwriter can Bind the policy

Please ignore Order Inspection for now. This will be removed once clones of workflows are made.

Step 5 - Bound

  • Once bound, Underwriter can Cancel the policy goes to Cancelled. This can also be reinstated.

  • Underwriter can request additional information and it loops back to Bound

  • Underwriter can issue the policy

Please note that when you access an application, the left menu collapses to show Details, attachments, etc.

Here’s what the attachments tab now looks like so you can access your applications, quotes, policy and endorsement documents, claims information, Cancellation information, Inspection Photos, and MORE!

 Comments - PLEASE instruct agents and underwriters to use the comments section to document everything. Applications are locked at certain points in the application process so you may need to update those applications so the information is correct for renewals.

Tasks: This is what it looks like when your policy has been issued. 

When the policy is bound, agents get a task like this saying to click the link! We send a daily summary until they do it.

Step 1- Begin Again! Agents can start a new application within the portal by clicking the + sign in the top right corner or one of these big bright colorful boxes.
