WELCOME TO BIGFOOT. HERE IS A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION ON OUR ONLINE PLATFORM FOR AGENTS. READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS AND YOU’LL GET A PRIZE.
Step 1. Complete the form for every new applicant https://www.bigfoot.insure/products/homeowners <——GET STARTED HERE! OR If you need a username, sign up here: https://commercialinsurance.surefyre.co/page/public/signup/ ***DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER***
NOTE: All net new applications must start on this external link. The + sign within Commercialinsurance.surefyre.co does not allow to create new applications at this time.
We will need your Agency information, the insured's information, a desired effective date, and then you'll need to check the type of insurance you're looking for: Homeowners, Personal Article Floater, Umbrella, Earthquake, and Flood. If you do not provide required information, you will be prompted with a red box that says "This field is required"
Please note that the user name is based on the Agent First and Last Name provided and the email provided will be where all communications are sent
Step 2 - Click Submit If you cannot find the blue submit button, just keep scrolling to the bottom. Once you've hit submit, you'll see a SUBMISSION SUCCESSFUL MESSAGE. All future communications will come from Commercialinsurance@surefyre.co
Step 3- Check your email. Submitting the form will automatically activate your account and you will receive a link to change your password and a link to your application. If you haven’t seen it, you should check your junk mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Step 3.5 - Get Appointed. Please note that if you are not automatically appointed through Kraft lake, you will need to complete a Producer's Agreement and a W9. For questions about whether or not you are appointed or any appetite questions, just call us at 855-900-2960 ext. 8400 or email JessicaN@cig-llc.biz
Step 4 - Log in to the portal via the link provided.
Step 5 - Click the link to access your application. The dashboard looks like this:
Step 6 - Review information and wait to be assigned an underwriter. If you have additional comments, click the application and then the comments tab.
Step 7 - Your status will be listed within each application. When it transitions to another status from Submitted, you will be updated immediately. It will go from Submitted to Quoted. You'll be able to withdraw quote or submit a bind request. Please note that more information may be requested from the underwriter. You may receive additional tasks or comments. Be sure to check out Attachments. Below, the status is Quoted and the next option is for you the agent to submit a bind request.
Step 8- Submit Bind Request
Once you click Submit Bind Request, you have the option to provide optional notes as seen here. Please be sure that you have completed all of the tasks provided by the underwriter.
Step 9 - Wait for Underwriting
Once you've submitted your bind request, please wait 2-3 business days for your assigned underwriter to get back to you. If you would like to check your status, just log into the portal at any time. If you want to start a net new application for an insured, simply click here to start the process all over again: https://www.bigfoot.insure/beta-testers

Step 10 - Success! This is what it looks like when your policy has been issued.
Step 1- Begin Again! You can start a new Personal Lines application within the portal by clicking the + sign in the top right corner.
